Maura DePascal

Maura grew up in Maryland where she graduated with honors a year early from Broadneck Senior High School. She began dancing at the age of 2 and has spent the past 16 years studying all styles of dance through studio classes, high school classes, conventions and master classes. She danced competitively for 9 years and spent 3 years on Broadneck Dance Company.
She has also spent the past 8 years assisting in dance classes of all styles which has fostered her passion for teaching. Maura was selected to be an iDance4aCURE ambassador in 2016, she is not only an advocate for children with cancer but a survivor herself. She has had to overcome many physical challenges as a child, including spinal fusion surgery in 2014, and believes wholeheartedly that her passion and commitment for dance is a motivating factor in helping her overcome those obstacles with strength and courage.
She looks forward to helping her students achieve their highest potential, explore their creativity and overcome any obstacles they may face. Maura is entering her 2nd year of college with a 4.0 GPA and is eager to share her love of dance and all that she has learned from her exceptional teachers with her students.
