Cori Sears
Instructor
Cori grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland where she began her dance training at the age of 3. She danced at The Patricia Kelbaugh Dance Studio and Germantown Studio of Dance, before joining her high school’s POM squad and spending 2 years on the Frostburg State Dance Company. She danced both recreationally and competitively and was a student choreographer for various plays, performance events, and peer auditions.
Cori has a master’s degree in education from Towson University, with over 20 years of elementary education teaching experience in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. She lives with her husband, Devin, and their two children, Brady and Addison. After taking many years off of dance to pursue her career and raise her children, she is thrilled to be back to dancing at CFDC. Along with Ms. Tammy, Ms. Chrissy, and Ms. Jen, Cori assists with facilitating the studio’s NHSDA (National Honor Society for Dance Arts) chapter.
